Current Conditions: Normal and clear

Fishing-Poor:  

The Fly Shop in Redding https://www.theflyshop.com reports "The Crystal Lake hatchery has been down for maintenance, we hear it will be back in operation later this month. This hatchery was the main source of fish for Baum Lake. The state is stocking it, but sourcing fish from other hatcheries and apparently not as many fish have been put in this season. We will continue to update the report as we receive more information. It remains to be said that there are some large fish that hang out on the north end of the lake.
