Current River Conditions: 526 CFS below Downieville

Fishing-Poor: Flows are coming down but are still too high to safely fish unless  you want to stay on shore and drag streamers along the steeper banks.  Things should imporove as runoff subsides over the next couple of weeks. Keep checking back.

In high flows use big attractor flies such as #14 Royal Wulffs, Adams (old style), Irrisistables, Stimulators, Elk Hair Caddis etc. Great streamers to try are Woolybuggers in Olive, Rust or Black, Slump Busters in same colors etc.

No word on fish stocking  yet.
